    • Led an pedagogically rich and accessible six-week bible study on the topic of economic justice in the book of Amos & Micah

    • Preached relevant and engaging exegetical sermons

    • Collaborated with the worship team to construct moving services throughout the liturgical year

    • Outlined and executed communications, including the weekly bulletin

Cemetery Project Lead | First Presbyterian Church of Cranbury

  • August 2024 - Present

    • Utilized archives and databases of the church, the town, Princeton Theological Seminary, and the Presbyerian Historical society to gather information regarding the church’s 252 unmarked graves and the congregation’s participation in slavery, segregation, and anti-Blackness.

    • Connected and collaborated with other organizations and individuals doing similar work. Some of the organizations include the Morven Museum & Gardens in Princeton, NJ; the Stoutsburg Sourland African American Museum in Skillman, NJ; and the Witness Stones Project.

    • Constructed an accessible and engaging website to share the information with congregants, community members, and decedents

    • Composed and submitted grants to denominational bodies—including the Presbytery of the Coastlands

    • Presented our findings to the Presbytery and the Synod to assist other congregations in doing similar historical, anti-racism works.

    • As a student pastor at First Presbyterian Cranbury, I led a series of adult ed classes using Amy Jill Levine’s book Sermon on the Mount: A Beginner's Guide to the Kingdom of Heaven and Scott Erickson’s book Honest Advent and associated art.

    • I also envisioned and implemented creative liturgy, preached relevant sermons throughout the year, and participated in pastoral care.

Council Inern + Student Pastor |Hopewell Council of Churches

  • September 2022- May 2023

    • As the Hopewell Council of Churches intern, I participated in HCC meetings, coordinated, atteneded, and served at HCC events. For example, I played a signifcant role in the Sunday of Service program which benefitted a local nonprofit, the Chubby's Project. I crafted the morning commissioning service and the evening vespers celebration. Moreover, I assisted in the planning and execution of the 5K walk with its five interactive information stations related to food insecurity and mental wellness. The event raised over $15,000.

    • I participated in a different congregation's service nearly every Sunday. I acted as either liturgist or preacher. When needed, I would fill in for my supervisor by leading adult Sunday school and by preaching during the service. Fo the council's weekly lenten services, I crafted the liturgy used in all services, participated in worship--both through the liturgy and through preaching.

    • I also participated in pastoral care by shadowing my supervisor on pastoral visits to parishoners and Chubby's Project lunch recipients.

    • I led a successful book discussion group on the book Church on Purpose which led to robust discussions across denominational lines regarding new frontiers for ministry, reimagining evangelism, and theology of place.

Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) | Robert Wood Johnson at Hamilton

  • June 2022 - August 2022

    • During the summer of 2022 I worked at RWJ Hamilton hospital in their CPE program. As a hospital chaplain, I provided pastoral and spiritual care for patients, their families, and hospital staff. I visited patients who had requested to see a chaplain, who had just been admitted, and/or after an emergency.
