about me

I was born and raised on the vast plains of Kansas. My family has a rich history of life and work in the Reformed, especially Presbyterian, faith— from Kansas and New Jersey and all the way to Germany.

For undergrad, I attended Davidson College in North Carolina. There I studied sociology and Spanish—focusing specifically on poverty, incarceration and Latin America. From my family’s living room in May of 2020, I graduated magna cum laude and received a B.A. in sociology with honors.

After graduating, I followed my call to seminary. On Princeton Seminary’s campus, I’ve been involved in several groups including Seminarians for Peace and Justice (SPJ) and Anti-Racist Coalition (ARC). In fact, I am currently the moderator of SPJ, and we have been working dilligently to make the seminary’s endowment transparent.

Throughout my time in seminary, I have worked in both intentionally ecumenical and specifically Presbyterian spaces. In May of 2024 graduated with a Master of Divinity (MDiv) and a Master of Education and Formation (MACEF).

I am passionate about the intersection of faith, creativity, and justice. With God’s help, I seek to live lightly and joyfully within creation and to act in lovingkindess, authenticity, and reciprocity toward my neighbor.
